NINA is a scarf with an integrated hood. It is knitted from tip at tip in stockinette stitch and 1x1 ribbing. The hood is constructed using increases, decreases, and short rows.

Hood height 12 - 13.5 inches / 30 - 34 cm.
Length (total from tip to tip) approximately 71 inches / 180 cm (adjustable).
 
 
GAUGE: 20 sts x 26 rows for 4x4 in or 10 x 10 cm in St st with 4.5 mm/US 7.
 
YARN: scarf is knitted with two strands of lace weight yarn and one strand of light fingering held together.approx. 400 - 550 yards / 360 - 500 m for each yarn. 
It is also possible to knit with a sport weight yarn and a lace weight yarn held together or a single DK/light worsted weight yarn.
 
NOTIONS: needles sizes 4.5 mm/US 7, tapestry needle, 2 stitch markers. 
 
NOTES: the sample are knitted in Silk Mohair (75% kid mohair, 25% silk – 50g = 250 m) from Isager and Alpaca 2 (50 % Alpaca, 50% wool – 25g = 212m) from Isager.
4 balls of Silk Mohair and 2 skeins of Alpaca 2.
Size 1 is knitted with Silk Mohair and Alpaca 2 color 36.Size 2 is knitted with Silk Mohair color 68 and Alpaca 2 color Thyme.
