FELICITA is worked in the round bottom up.
Begin with the base with a ring of increases, then work the body with alternating lace pattern and stockinette stitch.
The handles are knitted in cables, icord or double knitting (your choise) and then sewn to the bag.
 
The pattern is presented in one size, but it is possible to knit a smaller size (like a small purse) or a larger bag. This will affect the yarn count required.

SIZES: one size but adjustable. 
Approximately 7 inches/18 cm in diameter x 9.5 inches/24 cm in height.
Strap length: 21.75 inches/55 cm (adjustable).
 
GAUGE: 20 sts x 26 rows for 4 x 4 in or 10 x 10 cm in St st.
 
YARN: the pattern is knitted with two strand of a fingering weight yarn held together. Approximately 320 yards/380 m (200 g) e.i. 2 skeins.
 
NOTIONS: 3.5 mm/US 4 and 4 mm/US 6 (16, 32 inches/40, 80 cm), cable needles (knitted handles), tapestry needle, 1 stitch marker.
 
NOTES: the pattern is knitted Pernelle from Natisséa (100% chanvre - 190 m / 100 g) color écru.
 
TECHNIQUES: St st, M1R, k2 tog, double knitting.
