Stan is a comfortable sweater with an oversized and relaxed look, It is knitted seamlessly, top-down with drops shoulders. You start knitting the yoke for the back then fronts are picked on the bottom from shoulders. Then, the body (back and front) is first worked back and forth then in round. The neckline and sleeve stitches are picked up and knitted in the round. 4 collar options are available.

Finished bust circumference approximately: 40.5 (44 - 46.5) 48 (50.25 - 54) 57.5 (61.5 - 65.25) 69.25 inches or 103 (112 - 118) 122 (128 - 137) 146 (156 - 166) 175 cm.

 

Recommended ease: 10 to 13.75 inches or 25 to 35 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number.

Sample is shown in size 4 with 13.75 inches or 30 cm of positive ease.

 

 

GAUGE: 21 sts x 28 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in St st with 4 mm/US6 needles.

 

 

YARN: this sweater is knitted with a lace and a fingering weight yarn held together. Approx 1050 (1150 - 1250) 1320 (1450 - 1600) 1850 (1950 - 2100) 2200 yards or 950 (1050 - 1140) 1200 (1330 - 1460) 1700 (1800 - 2000) 2020 m of each yarn.

It can also be knitted with a single strand of DK yarn.

 

 

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3.5 mm/US4, (rib) and 4 mm/US6 (body and sleeves) 80 cm/32 inches, tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 6 stitches markers, a tape measure.
