Madeira is a cozy sweater, the perfect friend for cold mornings and winter evening.
It is knit seamlessly, bottom-up. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, worked in the round and shoulders are shaped with short rows. Stitches are also picked up for the collar. Two options are available : Neckband or cowl neck.

Sizes : XS (S - M1 - M2 - L - XL - XXL)
Finished bust circumference approximately : 35.50 (38.50 - 41 - 43.5 - 45.75 - 49 - 51) in or 90 (98 - 104 - 110 - 116 - 124 - 130) cm.
 
Gauge: 18 sts x 28 rows for 4x4 in or 10x10 cm in textured pattern.
 
Yarn : Approximately 990 (1040 - 1090 - 1205 - 1300 - 1400 - 1560) yards or 900 (950 - 990 - 1100 - 1190 - 1280 - 1420) m of worsted yarn. For the cowlneck version please add approximately 152 yards or 140 m.
 
Materials : Needles sizes 4 mm/US 6 (rib and collar) and 4.5 mm/US 7 (body and sleeves), tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder to hold live stitches, stitch markers.
 
Sample knit in Gilliatt de Rerum Natura size M1 with 1.50 in or 4 cm positive ease.
