Sailor is a sweater at once simple and original by its collar. It is presented in mariner version but the one color version and contrasting collar is just as possible … It’s up to you to play !
It is knit seamlessly, with raglan increases from the top down. First you work back and forth until the V-neck shaping is complete then in round until the end. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, worked in the round. Stitches are also picked up for the collar.

Gauge : 22 sts x 30 rows for 4x4 in or 10 x 10 cm in stockinette.
 
Yarn : Approximately 825 (930 - 985 - 1100 - 1160 - 1325 - 1590) yard or 750 (850 - 900 - 1000 - 1060 - 1210 - 1450) m of DK yarn for main color (MC), approximately 255 (265 - 270 - 275 - 290 - 300 - 330) yard or 230 (240 - 245 - 250 - 265 - 275 - 300) m of DK yarn for contrasting color(CC) and approximately 75 (80 - 85 - 90 - 100 - 110 - 130) yard or 65 (70 - 75 - 80 - 90 - 100 - 120) m of fingering yarn for collar.
 
Materials : Needles sizes 3 mm/US 2,5 (rib and collar) and 3.5 mm/US 4 (body and sleeves), tapestry needle, waste yarn or stitch holder to hold live stitches, 4 stitch markers.
