Pigne is a small sweater with a very simple shape and a worked cuff. It is knit top down seamlessly with raglan armholes and a double collar. The body (back and front) and puffed sleeves are worked in the round in stockinette striped. Knitted in mohair, your sweater will be warm and airy. To be declined in all colors !

Finished bust circumference approximately: 33 (35.5 - 38.5) 41(44 - 47.25) 50.5 (53.5 - 56.75) inches/ 84 (90 - 98) 104 (112 - 120) 128 (136 - 144) cm.

 

GAUGE: 20 sts x 28 rows for 4 x 4 inches/10 x 10 cm in stockinette striped with 4.5 mm/US 7 needles.

 

YARN: the sweater is knitted with two strands of lace yarn (mohair silk). Approximately 1540 (1650 - 1860) 2050 (2200 - 2300) 2500 (2620 - 2760) yards/1400 (1500 - 1700) 1900 (2000 - 2110) 2250 (2400 - 2520) m in total.

If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK weight yarn.

 

NOTIONS: needles sizes 3.5 mm/US 4 (rib) and 4.5 mm/US 7 (body and sleeves), a second circular needle or double point sizes 3.5 mm/US 4 and a hook sizes 3.5 mm/US 4 (crochet provisional cast on), tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 8 stitches markers.

 

NOTES: the pattern is knitted in KMS (kid mohair and silk) from Yarn by Simone color Frida.Recommended ease: 0 to 4 inches or 0 to 10 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number. Sample is shown in size 3 with 2.25 inches/6 cm of positive ease.
