MATISSE is a vest and slipover with a V neck. It is worked top down and seamlessly. The yoke begins with the back, the fronts are then picked up on the top of the shoulders which are formed by short rows. The body (back and front) is worked flat for the vest and in the round for the slipover. The stiches for the button bands, neckline and armholes (all worked in double knitting) are picked up, then knitted and attached to the body at the same time.

To select the best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then choose the finished bust circumference closest to that number.

GAUGE: 21 sts x 30 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in st st.
YARN: this pattern is knitted with one strand of lace and one strand fingering weight yarn held together.

If you prefer, you can also knit this sweater with only one strand of DK weight yarn or two strands of lace (silk mohair) weight held together.
MATERIALS: 80 cm circular needles size needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 (ribbing) and 4 mm/US 6 (body) to 80 cm, tapestry needle, cable for putting stitches on hold, removable stitch markers and 4 buttons of 18 mm.
NOTE: the sample is knitted using KMS (kid mohair silk - 50g = 420 m) and MSW (100% merinos superwash - 100g = 400 m) from Yarn By Simone.
Vest version is presented in color Blue Valentine.
Slipover version is presented in colors naturel, glory box, lemonade, pépètes, pink lady for ever, sunset lover, toffee and marguerite.
