Fjord is a comfortable and feminine sweater, knitted seamlessly, from the top-down. You start knitting the back yoke, then fronts are picked on the bottom from shoulders and formed with shorts rows. Then, the body (back and front) is worked in the round finished with a large band of ribs 2/2. The sleeves and collar are also worked in the round.

YARN: this sweater is knitted with two strands of yarn: a fingering weight and a lace weight held together.
Approximately 1070 (1130 - 1205 - 1335)(1465 - 1620 - 1735) yards/980 (1050 - 1100 - 1220 - 1340 - 1480 - 1590) m of each yarn. If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK weight yarn.
 
MATERIALS: Needles sizes 3,5 mm/US 4 (rib), 3,75/ US 5 (collar) and 4 mm/US 6 (body and sleeves), tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 2 stitches markers.
 
The pattern is knitted in Athéna and Orphée color Caramel au beurre salé from Lain’amourée. Recommended ease : 8 to 10 inches/20 to 25 cm of positive ease.
