Candy is an oversized (loose) cut cardigan/jacket knitted seamlessly, top-down in garter stitch. You start knitting the upper back then fronts are picked on the bottom from shoulders and formed with shorts rows. Then, the body (back and front) is first worked back and forth. Pick up stitches all around to knit the button placket in double ST st. The sleeves are picked up then worked in the round or back and forth (your choice).

Finished bust circumference approximately: 47.25 (51 - 55) 59 (63 - 67) 71 inches or 120 (130 - 140) 150 (160 - 170) 180 cm. Recommended ease: 8 to 16 inches or 20 to 40 cm of positive ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and add your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number. Sample is shown in size 2 with 15.5 inches or 39 cm of positive ease.
 
GAUGE: 17 sts x 30 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in garter st with larger needles. 
 
YARN: this jacket is knitted with one strand of a DK weight yarn and lace kid silk held together. Approximately 1390 (1495 - 1645) 1790 (1920 - 2055) 2190 yards or 1265 (1365 - 1500) 1635 (1755 - 1875) 2000 m of each yarn. If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a Worsted ou Aran weight yarn.
 
NOTIONS: needles sizes sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 (button placket), 4 mm/US 6 (ribs) and 5 mm/US 8 (body and sleeves) 80 cm/32 inches, DPN sizes 3 mm/US 2.5, tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 2 stitches markers, a tape measure and 4 buttons of about 20 to 24 mm.
 
NOTES: the pattern is knitted Cotton Merino (70 % coton, 30 % wool - 105 m = 50 g) from Katia Concept color 100 and kidsilk (70 % mohair, 30 % silk – 225 m = 25 g) color 01 from Drops.
