Mountains is a very warm cardigan with a slightly high collar and very long sleeves on which we knit a cable. It is perfect for walks in the forest, in the mountains or in the countryside.
It knits seamlessly from top to bottom. We start with the raglan yoke. The body (back and fronts) is then worked together. The sleeves are worked in the round. No stitches are picked up.

GAUGE: 19 sts x 26 rows for 4 x 4 inches/10 x 10 cm in stockinette st with 4.5 mm/US 7 needles.
 
YARN: The sweater is knitted with two strands held together : one of lace yarn (mohair silk) and one of DK yarn.
Approximately 950 (1070 - 1100 - 1220) (1250 - 1320 - 1420 - 1505) yards or 870 (980 - 1000 - 1115) (1140 - 1210 - 1300 - 1380) m of each yarn.If you prefer, you can knit this sweater with only one strand of a DK Worsted yarn.
 
MATERIALS: Needles sizes 3.5 mm/US 4 (rib) and 4.5 mm/US 7 (body and sleeves), a second circular needle or double point needles sizes 3.5 mm/US 4, tapestry needle, cable to hold live stitches, 14 stitch markers and 5 (18 to 20 cm) Buttons.
 
NOTE: recommended ease : 2.5 to 5 inches/6 to 12 cm of positive ease.
