Cadaquès light is a top with a V-neckline and cabled straps. Knitted with a vegetable yarn, your knit will be soft and fresh. Perfect for the summer season or midseason! It is the lighter version of Cadaquès top available here.
It is knitted from top to bottom, starting with one side then the other. We connect the two pieces to knit the rest of the body in the round.

Finished bust circumference approximately: 29 (31 - 32.25) 33.5 (36.25 - 37.5) 40.5 (41.75 - 44) 48 (52 - 56.25) inches or 74 (78,5 - 82) 85 (92 - 95) 103 (106 - 112) 122 (132 - 143) cm.
Recommended ease: - 2 to 6 inches or - 5 to 15 cm of negative ease. To pick your best size, measure your full bust and remove your desired ease, then pick the finished bust circumference closest to that number. It is of course possible to adapt and knit a size with more or less ease than recommended. If you hesitate between two sizes, prefer the size below.
Sample is shown in size 3 with 3 inches or 9 cm of negative ease.
GAUGE: 26 sts x 32 rows for 4 x 4 inches or 10 x 10 cm in St st with larger needles.
YARN: this top is knitted with one strand of light dk, sport or fingering weight yarn. Approximately 430 (460 - 485) 550 (595 - 625) 690 (740 - 820) 930 (1010 - 1020) yards or 390 (420 - 440) 500 (540 - 570) 630 (670 - 750) 850 (920 - 930) m.
NOTIONS: needles sizes 3 mm/US 2.5 (ribs), 3.5 mm/US 4 (body), cable needle, cables to hold live stitches, 1 stitches marker, meter to measure.
NOTES: the pattern is knitted in Tencel Cotton (67 % lyocel, 33 % coton – 50g = 120m) from Katia Yarns color 39.
Be careful because the vegetable fibers tend to relax. The choice of fiber will also affect the drape of your top. Silk, bamboo will have a beautiful, fluid drape. Cotton and linen will have less drape because they are fibers without elasticity.
