Côtes ouest is a hat with folded hem and a trendy and current look. It is as suitable for walks in the forest or mountains as for urban life. It is knitted in the round from bottom to top without seams. As cool to knit as for the whole family to wear !
It can be worn with a high cuff or a low cuff for two different looks.
 
It is available in 1/1 or 2/2 ribs and jersey versions.

YARN: the beanie is knitted with a lace type yarn and a fingering type yarn held together. Approximately 110 (145 - 165) 190 (220 - 265) yards or 100 (130 - 150) 170 (200 - 240) m. It can also be knitted with one strand DK yarn.
 
NOTIONS: needles sizes 3.5 mm/US 4 (ribs), 3.75 mm/US 5, tapestry needle, 8 stitches markers.

The idea is to use your large leftover yarns. It is therefore possible to make plain, two-tone, striped or faded versions.
